Belvoir Bowhunters,
Belvoir Bowhunters is located off Rt. 1 (Richmond Hwy.) at Pohick
Road to Tulley Gate. Pohick Road is
directly east of Backlick Road and just North of the new Fairfax Parkway that
exits Rt. 95 at Newington. Proceed to
the first stoplight, turn right on Gunston Road, beyond one stoplight to Warren
Road, turn right and proceed to Tompkins Basin.
Blackwater Bowhunters,
From Roanoke: Take 220S to
Plateua Plaza (Dairy Queen/Bojangles), make a left at the light onto Wirtz
Road, go one mile and range is on the right.
From Rocky Mount: Take 220N
to Plateau Plaza (Dairy Queen/Bojangles), make a right at the light onto Wirtz
Road, go one mile and range is on the right.
From Bedford: Take 122S
past Burnt Chimney, turn right onto Wirtz Road (across from J & P Meat
Processing) and range is five miles on left.
Bowhunters of Rockingham,
On Rt. 81, at Harrisonburg exit, go East on Rt. 33 for 3.9
miles. Make a left on Rt. 620 at traffic
light. On Rt. 620, go 1.4 miles and make
a right on Rt. 684. Go 0.2 mile to the
range on Rt. 684.
Buggs Island Archers,
Range is located 3.5 miles from Clarksville. On Rt. 15, from Clarksville, go South for
approximately 2 miles. Turn left on S.R.
804 (Mt. Ararat Road) to the range.
Cub Run Archers,
Centreville
From Route 66, take Route 28 South to right on Green Trails/Old
Mill (1st light after Braddock Road. Old
Mill is only one block long) CROSS Old Centreville Road to Mt. Olive Road
(large white church will be on your left).
Make a right through gates into IWLA property. Parking for range is located at the end of
driveway on left.
From Manassas, take Route 28 North to left on Compton Road (bear
right, but don't enter development) and right on Mt. Olive Road, then a left
through gates into IWLA property.
From Northern Virginia, take I-95 South to I-295 South. Approximately 30 to 35 miles South on I-295,
take Exit 3A (RT.460 East) and go 4 to 5 miles East on Rt. 460 to Rt.156
intersection. There will be a stop light
and a Texaco station at this intersection.
Take a left onto Rt. 156 North and go approximately 2 miles to the
intersection of Rt. 629 (East Quaker Road).
Turn right onto East Quaker Road and go 2.3 miles. Dixie range is on the right side of the road
in the 11100 block.
From the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area, take 460 West to Rt. 156
North and follow the directions above or take I.64 West to I.295 South and
follow the directions above.
From Western Virginia, Take 460 East to Petersburg and follow the
directions above.
Kingsboro Bowmen,
Range is located from US Rt. 58, take Rt. 10 North towards
Manahoac Bowmen,
Range is located off Rt. 95 and Rt. 3. Take Rt. 3 for approximately 10 miles. Turn left on Rt. 621 (
Range is located off Rt. 77 (Exit #14), and then take Rt. 58 West
to Galax. Follow Rt. 58 West past Galax
for approximately 3.5 miles, and then turn right on Rt. 94 North. Follow Rt. 94 North for approximately four
(4) miles. Turn on Rt. 274 West for
approximately 0.2 mile. Entrance to
range is on the right.
Northern Virginia
Archers, Fairfax Station
NORVA is located approximately 15 miles South of Fairfax and 15
miles North of Woodbridge. The range is
located off Rt. 95, South to Rt. 123, North.
Make a left on Hampton Road, West for approximately 3.5 miles to
FountainHead Regional Park. Turn left
into the range before the main entrance of the park.
Pr. William Archers,
Brentsville
From Manassas, go South on Rt. 28.
Turn left on Rt. 234, South for 2.7 miles. Turn right on Brentsville Road, go 2.6 miles
and turn right on Lucasville Road. Go
0.1 miles and turn left on Bristol Road and then left on Bristol Road. Go 0.2 mile to Izaak Walton Road to the
range.
Shawnee Bowmen,
Winchester – Not
Holding Shoots
Range is located off Rt. 50, West of Winchester. Take Rt. 50, West past the Winchester Medical
Center, go approximately four (4) miles, turn left on Rt. 608 (Wardensville
Road). Go three (3) miles and turn left
on Rt. 619 (Perry Road). Range entrance
is ¼ mile on right.
Shenandoah County Archers,
Strasburg
Range is located off Rt. 81 and Rt. 55 West. Turn left on Rt. 623 for 2 miles. Turn right on Rt. 638 to end of maintenance,
then turn left on Jesse Lane. Range
behind the third house.
Sherwood Archers,
Range is located about 5.6 miles off of I.81. Take the Rt.
419, Exit 141 off of I.81. At the light at the end of the ramp make a left onto
Rt. 419. You will only go about .08 miles and make a right onto Dutch
Oven road. Take another immediate right
on Timberview road. Keep straight on Timberview and you will see a sign
for the club on your left. When you come off of the Interstate, if you
make a right at the light on Rt. 419, go 2.3 hundred yards and you will see
Burger King on your right. Sheraton Drive where the hotels are located
runs behind this Burger King.
Singers Glen Bowbenders
Range is located off I-81, Exit 251. Merge onto US.11 N/N Valley Pike for 1.8
miles. Turn left at Melrose Road for 2.6
miles. Turn left at Etna Road for 0.2
miles. Turn right at Kratzer Road and then turn left at Linville Edom Road for
1.2 miles. Turn left at Jesse Bennett
Way for 0.1 miles. Turn right at Green
Hill Road for 3.1 miles, and turn left and stay on Green Hill Road for 0.5
miles. Turn right at Turleytown Road
(Rt. 613) and continue on for 0.5 miles.
Turn left at Frank Lane Road for 1.4 miles, then turn right at Bowbender
Lane to the range.
Staunton River Archers,
Hurt
Range is located off Rt. 29 South of Altavista. Take the 1st Hurt Exit (Rt. 924). At the top of ramp, turn right onto Rt. 924. Go 0.9 miles to the ‘T’ intersection. Turn left onto Rockford School Road. Go another 0.9 miles to the bottom of the hill to the range.
Triangle Archers,
Range is approximately 3 miles on Rt. 460 West. From center (Courthouse) of Christiansburg,
turn left on Rt. 657 (Merrimac Road). Go
0.2 miles and turn left on Burley Lane.
Entrance to range is at the end of the road.
Two Rivers Archery Club,
On Rt. 66 West, take Exit 13 (
Walton Park Bowhunters,
Range is located approximately 10 miles from Lynchburg. Take Rt. 29 North to Rt. 604. Go 3.1 miles to Rt. 663, then go 0.3 mile and
turn right into the Izaak Walton Park.
